Harold Enlow

Harold, who lives in Dogpatch, Arkansas, was born on Friday the 13th smack dab in the middle of the Ozark Mountains. Although he became interested in carving quite young, he did not do any serious carving until he was stationed with the US Army, in Okinawa. Harold began carving professionally in the early 1960’s. Humorous hill folks, which one expects to see in the Ozarks, are among Harold’s favorite subjects to carve.

Harold has written twelve wood carving books and teaches 30-35 woodcarving seminars each year. He is a founding member of CCA and a member of the National Wood Carvers’ Association, the Ozark Whittlers and Wood Carvers, and several other carving groups around the country.
