This competition is not for the faint of heart – we are searching for the world’s greatest whittlers, the one who will be crowned.
“World Champion Whittler 2026”
The stakes are high, as the winner will earn a full year of well-deserved bragging rights. With just one hour to carve, the possibilities are endless. From whimsical creatures to intricate designs, participants are encouraged to let their imaginations run wild.
$5 entry fee
Contestants will be given a 2”x2”x5” basswood block
1 1/2 hours to carve
Grand Prize – Custom made silver trophy buckle
Do you have what it takes to be the next World Championship Whittling Competition winner? You will be given a block of wood and a specific amount of time to carve. Put your skills up against some of the best caricature carvers in the world and see if you can come out on top! This is a great way to demonstrate caricature carving to the audience, generate interest, and grow the community. Bring your tools and come prepared to carve.

All carvers including CCA members may join in the carving fun however carvings by CCA members will not be judged and are not eligible to win the competition.
