This competition is not for the faint of heart – we are searching for the world’s greatest whittlers, the one who will be crowned.
“World Champion Whittler 2024”
The stakes are high, as the winner will earn a full year of well-deserved bragging rights. With just one hour to carve, the possibilities are endless. From whimsical creatures to intricate designs, participants are encouraged to let their imaginations run wild.
$5 entry fee
Contestants will be given a 2”x2”x5” basswood block
1 ½ Hour to carve
Grand Prize – Custom made silver trophy buckle
The winning carving will become a part of history, as it will remain the property of the CCA. This masterpiece will be proudly displayed annually at the Carvin the Rockies show, showcasing the incredible talent that graces our competition. The winner will not only earn a year of bragging rights, but also a custom made silver trophy buckle, commemorating their accomplishment to be worn as a symbol of their exceptional talent and dedication!

The guest (secret) judge will have total discretion in choosing the winning carving, ensuring a fair and unbiased decision.
All carvers including CCA members may join in the carving fun however carvings by CCA members will not be judged and are not eligible to win the competition.
